His unique expertise combines a range of treatments—from acupuncture and homeopathy to intravenous vitamins, chelation therapy, bio-identical hormone replacement and neurointegration (neurofeedback).
Dr. Igor Ostrovsky is a Fellow of the American Academy of Anti-Aging Medicine, member of the American Society of Anesthesiologists, American Academy of Pain Management, American College for Advancement in
Medicine (ACAM), Pan American Allergy Society, Charter Fellow of the American College of Acupuncture, and Homeopathic Medical Society of the State of New York. Dr. Ostrovsky studied Neural Therapy from Dr. Ulrike Aldag, director of the Berlin Institute for Neural Therapy. The first Western physician to study Scalp Acupuncture in depth, he published articles and earned a Ph.D. for his thesis on the “Mechanisms of Scalp Acupuncture” from The Academy of Sciences of the USSR in 1988.
While completing a residency in anesthesiology at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Manhattan, Dr. Ostrovsky was sent to Beijing and Shanghai to study acupuncture in even more depth from a range of expert teachers. He also studied homeopathy under many leaders in the field, including Dr. Rajan Sankaran, Drs. Bhawisha and Shachindra Joshi, Jeremy Sherr, and Roger Morrison.
Today, Dr. Ostrovsky uses his wide-ranging expertise to help prevent and treat a range of disorders, challenging the conventional thinking that declining health is a normal part of the aging process. Instead, he believes that vibrant health is available to all, and that one’s quality of life can actually improve as one grows older.
