Immunotherapy

Immunotherapy is a term for different kind of treatments modulating responses of immune system (Low Dose Antigen Therapy, Isopathy, Autologous Blood Therapy, Homeopathic Autologous Blood Therapy, Sublingual Immunotherapy).Patient receiving Immunothrapy injection

Isopathy is a type of alternative treatment that is closely related to homeopathy. The difference between isopathy and homeopathy is that isopathy uses remedies that are made up from the cause of the disease. It is common in isopathy to give a product of a disease in an attenuated form (nosode) for the disease itself. For example, homeopathic preparation of Borrelia burgdorferi (microbe that causes Lyme disease) may be used to treat patients with complications of Lyme disease or Post-Lyme disease syndrome; homeopathic preparation of Herpes virus may be used to treat postherpetic neuralgia; homeopathic preparations of MMR or DPT vaccines may be used to treat conditions that followed vaccinations with these vaccines.

Homeopathic Autologous Blood Therapy is used to modulate the work of immune system. Patient’s own blood in homeopathic preparation is used for allergic conditions, atopic dermatitis, some auto-immune conditions, eczemas, viral infections, Rheumatoid and some other types of arthritis. Autologous Blood Therapy is widely used in Europe for more than one hundred years`. Homeopathic application of this method from my experience works better.
Low Dose Antigen Treatment is used for treatment of environmental allergies.  I use it in the form of Sublingual Immunotherapy.

Sublingual Immunotherapy is method of allergy treatment that uses an allergen solution given under the tongue to reduce sensitivity to allergens. Sublingual immunotherapy, or SLIT, has a very good safety profile and is given at home in adults and children.
